Hey there! I'm Kim. Welcome to Rad Iced Coffee & Cold Brew.

Coffee has always been a passion of mine. Starting out, it was mostly used as a survival tool for the long commutes, work grind or finding boosts of energy to match my kiddos energy levels. Over time, my love for coffee changed to accompany great conversations, road trips, game nights, camping and adventures.

I am an 80's and 90’s kid to the core. My walls were covered in teen bop heartthrobs, Madonna, Def Leppard and Nirvana. Who else has gotten whiplash from headbanging? Unfortunately, true story :) You could find me with neon sunglasses, big hair or side pony, head buried in a book, hanging at the mall or stalking the boys at the skate park... I loved everything about growing up in the 80s and 90s, especially the free spirits, the creatives and the dreamers. And this is why I think Nashville is so rad!

My vision for Rad is to embody that same level of authentic free spirit energy. Rad is definitely not your “too cool” or “exclusive” coffee experience. I see you, hear you and want to get to know you.

My cold brew process utilizes beans from local roasters in the south. I use small batch technology to extract the rich deep flavor of coffee which makes the taste silky and smooth, with less acidity and without any bitterness. We utilize cold brew concentrate in our lattes which provides a rich flavor that does not get watered down by adding hot espresso to the ice. This method also tends to contain more caffeine per ounce so that you are fully charged and ready to roll.
